Mission Statement

Phoenix Homes mission is to provide an extraordinary quality of treatment foster care, providing outstanding services to our state and community partners, youth, primary treatment facilitators, and primary families. We believe each youth in our care has value and can become a contributing member of society with our support. We will support them by organizing and implementing care through networking, training and our superior service delivery model so that everyone experiences success and quality customer service.

In Pursuing Our Vision We Commit to the Following Values:

  • We have a deep commitment to the children and adults in our care. We provide high quality, wrap around services and TFC to ensure safety, nurturance, necessary therapeutic intervention, education and support. We encourage and support an organizational system which not only serves those in need, but also empowers those served.
  • We focus on families to help children grow up healthy. We work to strengthen the family through intervention and advocate for reunification whenever it is safe and beneficial or alternate permanency if preferable and feasible. We place children with warm, supportive treatment foster families and work with those families and communities to provide the least restrictive setting possible. We provide services in a dynamic and innovative approach which ensures that youth and families have their needs met in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • We strive for excellence in Foster Families. We recruit the highest quality foster families who value and respect the youth in their home. We provide ongoing training and support and compensate them fairly and generously. In turn, we expect deep commitment and support and excellence from them as foster parents. We promote, respect and enhance the quality of all human life by advocating for strong families and community based treatment options.
  • We hire remarkable staff. We recruit dedicated staff members who are self directed, responsible and committed to positively impacting the youth and families they serve. We value our employees by offering training, significant compensation, listening to feedback and holding high standards of excellence and service to the youth in our care. Our highly qualified CAN DO staff are empowered to be self-directed and willing to accept the daily challenges required to make a positive impact in the lives of the youth and families.
  • We provide excellent customer service. We provide prompt, personable, knowledgeable and responsible service to the referral agencies, and the other clients and customers we interact with. We ensure our viability by continuing to enhance the quality of our services while we simultaneously promote growth and expansion.

We approach the people we serve with respect, compassion, honesty and appreciation.   • We have developed a state of the art management information system, from daily documentation logs by the PTFs, to e-mails, memos, newsletters, sophisticated financial reports, outcome measurements, etc. This excellent information management system benefits our company-wide communication, our service delivery, our decision-making, our marketing and growth.
  • We maintain fine fiscal and money management. We function in an efficient and cost effective manner and continue to expand our delivery of services in order to stay fiscally sound and viable. We establish and maintain quality standards in operating a successful business that is fiscally viable and satisfies our customers needs in an efficient and cost effective manner.

We continually upgrade our infrastructure company-wide (offices, computers, equipment) invest in our staff-both foster parents and employees, provide competitive salaries and benefits, update the way we do things to improve service delivery and create innovative approaches in the programs we offer as an organization.
