Strategies for Enhanced Quality of Care

Every treatment foster family will receive an in-home session with a social worker each week. Phoenix Homes will also provide additional therapeutic services for the youth and family as needed to ensure success.

Emergency respite will be available as needed at another Phoenix placement home.

Advanced telecommunications technology will be used to provide support for the treatment foster parents and youth. Each treatment foster home will be linked via computer for training/distance learning, communication and caregiver support. In addition, youth will have access to email as a vehicle for communicating with their parents, Phoenix Homes staff and other youth in the Phoenix Homes program.
